Some baseball stuff...........

As Liam already mentioned, the Cards traded Kerry Robinson to the Padres yesterday for essentially.... an older version of Kerry Robinson, Brian Hunter. He led the AL in stolen bases two years ago and had something like 74 SB's in 1997. A sub par hitter, but has a steady glove which means he'll be reliable in the field if he's put on base to pinch run.

Ken Griffey Jr. is hurt again. No surprise there.

And lo and behold, Mr Tino "No Production" Martinez who was traded to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays during the offseason hits a home run, sacks three RBI's, and goes 3-3 in the first Major League baseball game of the year against his former team, the Yankees. If he had that much production over the course of 4 games here in St. Louis I would have been happy. I guess he's just not ready for the National League.

Oh, and Mark Prior's bitch ass could be out until May for the Cubbies. Awww what a shame.
