Quotes of the week from your President and Vice President:

While speaking about the topic of higher insurance premiums in Poplar Bluff, MO earlier this week (story), the President said:

"Too many good docs are getting out of business. Too many OB/GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country."

I'm sure that the first thing that women look for when searching out a good OBGYN. Some good loving. Maybe Bushy should concentrate less on the war in Iraq and more with his apparent fight against the English language.

Moving on to a Dick.... I mean Dick Cheney. In a campaign stop in Des Moines, IA earlier this week (story), the Vice President commented thusly on the upcoming election:

"It's absolutely essential that eight weeks from today, on Nov. 2, we make the right choice. Because if we make the wrong choice then the danger is that we'll get hit (by terrorists) again and we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States."

See Dick speak. See Dick make stupid threats. See Dick have another heart attack. Dirty politics is one thing, but to essentially attempt to dupe people into believing that the terrorists aren't going to attack us if Bush is re-elected is just fucking dumb.
